A COUPLE from Bo'ness have marked their golden wedding anniversary.
David and Sadie Clelland, both 72, were married on August 16, 1958 at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Limerigg, Slamannan by the Rev. Canon Thomas Hanlon.
David was a miner at the time and the pair met two years before at the Kinneil Miners' Institute.
Sadie worked at Nobel's Division in Redding.
The family celebrated their big day with 120 friends at Kinneil Bowling Club last Friday.
Sadie said their three children, four grandsons and a handful of the original wedding guests joined them for the party.
She said: "We had a lovely night. We are going to Ireland soon for a holiday – a present from the family."
Sadie added she and David were delighted to be marking 50 years together.
She said: "I wouldn't change it for the world. We had our ups and downs – but we got there."
