Alexander Gray carried out a violent assault on a man at Falkirk Sheriff Court repeatedly kicking and punching him on the head and body while he lay on the ground.

Having admitted the attack he carried out on August 14, 2019, Gray (43), whose address was listed as Barlinnie Prison in the court papers, was due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday.

However, his defence solicitor Murray Aitken said he was feeling unwell.

Sheriff Derek Livingston continued Gray’s order and fixed a review for June 24.
