Three quality players are on the Rose manager's radar but the club is still in talks.
But on their way out are keeper Greig Logan, who has moved to Bo'ness United, Andy Dick, Greig Burnett, Robbie Feeney and Gary McGlynn.
Club secretary David
Roy said: "Greig Logan has moved to Bo'ness in the past week and the others have been made available to other clubs."
He added that the decision to release Gary McGlynn was due to the fact that he plans to move to Australia later in the year.
And Mr Roy revealed that, while the Super League campaign may not start until September, the club has already arranged a number of friendlies in advance of the League Cup tournament, which is expected to kick off on August 9.
The Rose players return from their summer break for pre-season training on Monday, July 7, and will face West Calder at their new stadium on Saturday, July 26 (dependent on the stadium being complete); an away trip to Kilsyth Rangers is planned for Tuesday, July 29, and Cumbernauld United (away) on Thursday, July 31.
Matches at Prestonfield will include a fixture against Camelon for the Vic Wood Memorial Trophy on Saturday, August 2, and a real tester when they face SPL newcomers Hamilton Accies on Tuesday, August 5.
The League Cup campaign is expected to begin a week later on Saturday, August 9.
The teams involved in the Rose section are Bonnyrigg Rose, Broxburn, Dalkeith Thistle, Pumpherston and Edinburgh City.
The Super League campaign willkick off with a home tie against newly
promoted Forfar West End, Glenrothes (away) and a home tie against local rivals Bo'ness United.
Meanwhile Linlithgow Rose is opposed to the latest proposals by the SJFA to play Scottish Junior Cup semi-finals on a home and away basis rather than a one-off match at a senior ground.
Mr Roy, who attended the annual general meeting in Fife, said: "It was heard that the junior cup semi-final between Bathgate and Pollok at Broadwood in Cumbernauld only raised around £800 after expenses were met. While we accept that certain clubs don't have a big following to fill such grounds, these matches are the showpiece of the junior season and it is expected for them to be played at senior stadium."
He said: "You only have to look at the semi-final of the cup in 2003 when we played Bo'ness at Almondvale before a crowd of almost 8000."
