BO'NESS United started the second half of this match having held Hill of Beath against a strong west wind, and were looking forward to setting about them to get a rare League victory against the Fife side.
However as things turned out, Bo'ness had two players sent off before Hill of Beath scored two goals to claim their second victory at Newtown Park in a month.

Victory would have seen Bo'ness established near the top of the League but defeat sees Bo'ness remain in the top half of the table but in a tight Super League, only four points separates Bo'ness from bottom club Bathgate.

For reaction to the game, a look ahead to Saturday's match, and for all your local sport, see your Journal and Gazette on Friday.
